Toronto 3D PrintFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear answers before you print
Everything you need to know about files, pricing, payment, materials, delivery and CAD services.
01How does the quote process work?+
Upload one or more STL or 3MF files, choose your print settings and submit the estimate. We review the model, confirm the final total and update the order. When its status becomes Approved, secure payment becomes available in Order Tracker.
02Is the instant estimate the final price?+
It is an estimate based on the model data and selected settings. We may adjust it after checking printability, supports, orientation, material use, finishing needs and delivery details. The reviewed amount shown in your order is the final total for payment.
03How do I track and pay for an order?+
Select Track Order, then enter the order number and the same email used for the request. Once we set the order to Approved, the secure payment button appears there. Production begins after payment is confirmed.
04Which material should I choose?+
PLA is a strong general choice for indoor parts and visual models. PETG suits tougher or moisture-prone uses, while ABS is useful for stronger, more heat-resistant indoor functional parts. Tell us about heat, outdoor exposure, loads or water contact so we can recommend the best option.
05How do delivery and shipping work?+
We can deliver locally or ship by mail. Share the destination address or postal code so delivery cost and timing can be confirmed. Delivery or shipping normally takes 2β3 business days after production is complete.
06Can you create or modify a 3D file?+
Yes. Our CAD service can create a model from sketches, photos and written dimensions, or revise an existing STL, 3MF, STEP or other common CAD file. CAD work is reviewed and quoted separately.
07Can I cancel or change an order?+
Contact us as soon as possible. Changes and cancellations are usually possible before printing begins. Once custom production has started, material and machine time already used may affect the available resolution. If a finished part has a confirmed manufacturing defect, contact us with photos so we can review it.
