1. Terms of service
By submitting a quote, approving an order or buying a product, you agree to these terms. Automated quotes are estimates until final review. Dimensions, material, colour, quantity, finishing, tax and delivery must be confirmed before an order is final. Toronto3D may refuse unlawful, unsafe, infringing, weapon-related or unsuitable work.
Orders must be paid under the confirmed payment arrangement. Custom work is generally non-cancellable after production begins. If we accept a cancellation, incurred design, material, machine-time, payment-processing and administrative costs may be deducted.
2. Customer files & intellectual property
You retain rights in files you upload and represent that you own, or have permission to reproduce, modify and manufacture, the design. You grant Toronto3D and production partners needed to fulfil the order a limited licence to use the files for quoting, design review, manufacturing, quality control, delivery and support.
You are responsible for claims and losses arising from customer files that infringe patents, trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, trade secrets, privacy or other rights. We do not sell private models publicly without permission, but may retain or disclose relevant records where required by law, safety review or a payment dispute.
3. Custom-print standards
3D printing normally includes layer lines, support marks, seams, slight warping, colour variation and dimensional tolerances. Unless expressly confirmed in writing, prints are not certified for food contact, medical or child use, structural loads, pressure, fire resistance, electrical insulation, automotive, aerospace or other safety-critical applications. The customer must determine fitness for purpose and arrange any required testing or certification.
Report a material departure from confirmed specifications within 7 days of delivery with the order number and clear photos. Once verified, we may choose to reprint, repair, credit or refund. Free reprints do not cover customer-model defects, incorrect dimensions, changed requirements or normal process characteristics.
4. Payment security & pricing
Online payments are securely processed by Stripe; Toronto3D does not access or store complete card numbers. Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, the final amount shown before payment includes confirmed goods or services, applicable delivery charges and Ontario HST. Customers should verify the order summary and delivery address before paying.
4. Shipping, returns & Store products
Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by print failures, material supply, weather and carriers. The customer must provide a complete, accurate address. Loss or theft after a carrier marks delivery should be reported promptly to both the carrier and Toronto3D. Title and risk transfer on delivery to the customer or carrier as permitted by applicable law.
Custom, made-to-order, opened consumables and personalized goods are generally not returnable for change of mind. Contact us within 14 days of delivery for authorization before returning an unused, unopened regular-stock item. Unless defective or sent in error, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Approved refunds go to the original payment method; original delivery charges are generally non-refundable.
5. Ontario production network
Toronto3D may assign work to screened production partners based on material, size, timing, location and available capacity. The customer continues to receive quoting, payment, status updates and support through Toronto3D. City markers show areas where service may be coordinated; they do not represent public storefronts, guaranteed immediate capacity or private partner addresses.
5. Privacy policy
We collect information needed to quote and fulfil work, including contact details, addresses, uploaded files, configurations, orders, payment status and basic website analytics. We use it to provide services, prevent fraud, support customers, improve the site and meet tax and legal duties. Stripe processes card details; Toronto3D does not store full card numbers.
Information is shared with service providers and production partners only as needed for fulfilment, hosting, analytics, payment, delivery or legal compliance. Records are retained for business, tax, dispute and legal needs, with reasonable safeguards. Use Support to request access, correction or deletion where legally available.
6. Warranties, liability & governing law
To the extent permitted by law, services and products are supplied to confirmed specifications without warranties not expressly stated in writing. Toronto3D is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or punitive loss, lost profit, data or business, or an unapproved end use. Total liability for an order will not exceed the amount actually paid for that order. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or statutory consumer rights available in Ontario.
These terms are governed by Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law. The parties will first attempt good-faith resolution; unresolved disputes are subject to courts of competent jurisdiction in Ontario. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
